2. Data Collection and Data Processing

• We collect and store all the data that you as a customer enter on our website or communicate to us by other means.
• We use your data exclusively for the purpose of processing and completing your purchase and if necessary within the framework of warranty processing. We provide service providers commissioned by us (haulage/carriers, banks) with those data necessary to complete the order.
• We install a password-protected direct login for each customer who registers for such an access. The data entered by the customer in the course of registration are stored by us.
• We use so-called cookies in order to make visiting our website more attractive and enable the use of certain functions. Cookies are small text files that are saved to your computer. Most of the cookies used by us are deleted from your hard drive when you close your browser session. Some cookies remain on your computer and allow our system to recognise your browser at the next visit.

3. Security

• We transmit your personal data using encryption tools. We use Secure Socket Layer Software (SSL), which automatically encrypts the data communicated by you.
• We employ technical and organisational measures to protect our website against loss or destruction of the data therein as well as access, modification or processing by third parties.
• During credit card orders we divulge only the last four digits of your credit card number. In the course of processing the order we then communicate the complete credit card number to the responsible credit card company.

4. Customer Rights

• The customer is entitled to disclosure of his/her stored data without charge, correction of the same, and blocking or erasure in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act.

5. Passing on of Customer Data

• We only pass our customers’ personal data on to third parties insofar as necessary to process and complete orders, when we are required to do so by law, when this is necessary in order to enforce our contractual agreements or rights, or when necessary to protect our customers’ rights. A passing on of data to companies for economic use is barred.
